I've been developing teaching opportunities (playing and building) over the last few months and things are beginning to take off.

Last week I hosted a one-on-one ukulele building workshop. A gentleman from Nashville, TN. He joined me in my central Indiana shop for a week of uke buildin' fun. He bagan with a box of wood and left with a well built soprano and a heap of new knowledge.

The local newspaper thought his visit newsworthy. Here is the article.article.

A few photos to follow.

I just recieved an email from Andy, my student, that sums up his feelings about the class. It was such a positive experience for both of us!

His words...

The strings are on the uke and I love it and everyone else who has seen it
does too. It sounds incredible - it's my new favorite ukulele. My wife was
amazed - I think she (and maybe a few other family members) thought that it
would look and sound more like a clunky Hilo. The first reaction has been
"Wow!!" and then I hear "YOU made this?".
